I've been here twice before, the last time was much better, then again, time fosters fondness. I didn't like our waitress as she seemed tired and ready to go home. I would have happily drank more than one beer but she never gave me the chance. The sides were pretty bland but we came for the dry rub ribs and they were really good like we were hoping for. Everything came out super fast which makes me think not much is made to order, rather sitting under heat lamps. I really like the ribs and I will keep coming here when I visit Little Rock.

Update: After reading my review the owner called and we chatted. He said he is trying to work at two stores and will give the NLR store more attention. He also asked me to stop by for a "Make it up" meal. He was very kind and really cares about his restaurants. So I'll stop by and see. We visited and ate. Would have been better off going to Kroger getting the packaged pulled pork O'plastic bucket. The staff was less than attentive, the ribs were burned and dry. The sides that were supposed to be hot were warm, the sides that were supposed to be cold were warm.

I needed to pick up enough pulled pork, slaw and potato salad to feed 10 people at the last moment. I walked in, and a great young man, Justin, stellar server behind the bar, helped me put the order together. The food was great as always, and service was above and beyond excellent. It's great to be able to pick up food for a crowd so easily and quickly.

We had a group of 17 after the UAMS Match day Friday the 20th. The service and food was great. Everything from grilled cheese to catfish to ribs was fresh and delicious. We had a wonderful time.

Very, very impressed. I've been burned on past visits to Corky's other sites. The Poplar Ave. site in Memphis (the HQ) is always, always great, but they have a number of other sites in other parts of the South. I had a disappointing experience in Nashville, and another in Tunica and swore off going anywhere but Poplar again. But tonight I had a hankering...you know the kind. I've got to get some Corky's! It was either drive 3.5 hours to Memphis or give the local place a try. when I pulled up to a nearly empty parking lot I didn't give myself much chance at a good meal. Brother was I wrong! The Dry Rub ribs were magnificent. Every bit of the finger licking, fall off the bone glory from Memphis is in full effect here in North Little Rock. I was so happy I felt like kissing the waitress (I didn't!) This gives me some hope that other Corky's sites might still be worth trying. Stop on by and get a taste of Memphis - highly recommended!

Had the combo sausage and brisket. The first time I have been to a restaurant that specializes in BBQ and the brisket cubed and was like stew meat. It was cold on top of that. I got 2 kinds of sausage on my plate. One was good and the other looked like they cut up a hot dog. I can see why they have bad reviews and the parking lot was near empty at 6pm on a friday. Will not be back...

Don't believe everything you hear on the radio. I heard a spot for Corky's advertising their smoked turkey and turkey salad, so I decided to swing by and purchase some. Funny, they did not have any and were none too apologetic about it. I'd never stepped foot in a Corky's before, and don't plan to again.

Beans were cold, the ribs were colder. Mediocre at best. Don't waste your time or your money

Ribs were tough and undercooked. I want my ribs to be fall off the bone tender, and these were not. I'm not inclined to go back anytime soon.

I had the half-rack, dry rub ribs and they were delicious, fall-off-the-bone tender. I'll be moving to Chicago soon so I wanted to eat at my favoite rib place before I left. Yeah, the place down on 167 is pretty good too, but I really enjoy the dry rub here at Corky's. (The Commissary in Memphis is my all time favorite.) The lunch service was friendly and it came with fresh rolls and a choice of two side--I chose green beans and fried okra. The beans were good and the okra was ok. They were maybe a little *too* chrispy for my liking, but still tender inside and tasty. All told, it was an enjoyable lunch for only $9.99. I'll be sure to bring a couple of bottls of Corky's Dry Rub and Cavender's Greek Seasoning with me to Chicago!

Service is spotty at best. Waitress didn't know the menu when asked questions. While dining other waitresses were vacuuming and putting chairs up on the table and sweeping food off floor while we were still eating even though it was only 8:15. Food was not good. The pulled pork tasted hot-doggish and the macaroni and cheese was hardly edible. Ribs were very standard and felt microwaved. It was our last visit and we won't go back.

we came here on a sunday because whole hog was closed & we were desperate for some bbq. the service was fine..but the food was not. i had the pulled pork sandwich thinking you couldn't mess that up, but i was wrong. meat was fatty and greasy. my husband had ribs and said that they were cooked alright but the seasoning was off. potato salad tasted like it came from the grocery store lol. would not come here again.
